Deetox is delighted to announce that our partnership with Gulf for Good for the Burj Khalifa Virtual Climb helped accomplish the goals we set out to achieve together, but not without your incredible support.
The event was a huge success, not only by way of enthusiastic participation from across the globe, but also in achieving the main goal of raising funds for projects to support over 2,000 children in Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania, Peru, and Lebanon with day-to-day essentials: food, water, clothing, shelter.
Deetox and its followers played their part in spreading the good word, and pledging donations to the event. Our committed social media push, and awareness initiatives via our app and website complemented the efforts by Gulf for Good in widening the scope of awareness about the challenge and its goals.
Burj Khalifa Virtual Climb was open between May 15-17, and asked participants to join virtually by running up the stairs of their apartment building. The challenge was led by Global Elite Tower Runners Gretta Beckett and World #2 Wai Ling.
The campaign raised a whopping US$ 5546.27 against its goal of US$ 2,725, twice the target!
