Feisty 103-Year-Old Grandma Celebrates COVID Recovery By Drinking an Ice Cold Beverage
The “feisty Polish grandmother” Jennie Stejna, from Easton, Massachusetts, was the first resident of her nursing home to have caught the virus after she contracted a low-grade fever. As her condition worsened, doctors weren’t sure she was going to make it. To everyone’s shock, Stejna made a full recovery from the virus. As a way to celebrate her recovery, nursing home staffers gave her an ice-cold alcoholic beverage – a drink she loves – but has not gotten to enjoy in a long time.
Dog Breaks World Record for Most Tennis Balls Held in His Mouth
This 6-year-old dog proved that anything is possible if you put your mind to it! Finley the Golden Retriever broke the Guinness World Record for the most tennis balls held in a dog’s mouth at one time. According to his human companion Erin Molloy, Finley has been picking up tennis balls since he was just 2 years old—and after practicing his craft for much of his young life, he managed to work his way up to carrying six tennis balls at a time. Congratulations Finley!
Dad Surprises Graduating Daughter With Frontyard Ceremony
A devoted dad in Tennessee went above and beyond and decided to hold a commencement ceremony for his daughter. Gabrielle Pierce was devastated to find out that after years of hard work to get her bachelor’s degree in public health science, she would not be able to walk across the stage like she always dreamed of. Gabrielle’s dad Burson was determined to help fulfill his daughter’s dream. In 6 weeks he reserved a podium, a stage, a photographer, and got 40 people to attend without his daughter’s knowledge. Congratulations to the class of 2020!
